Responsible for mid-size to large regional/national accounts. Generates sales of company systems and services in named accounts, specific industry or assigned geographic territory. Contacts/visits existing and prospective customers. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Observes and participates in presenting products and services that can fill customer needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services. Consistently achieves quota and revenue targets and accurately and punctually prepares sales forecasts and weekly activity reports. Observes and participates in presenting products and services that can benefit customer's needs. Builds contacts and develops rapport with both transactional and relational customers.
This position requires ~ 80% travel within the Midwest and potentially surrounding markets. Travel location will be to account specific locations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience with C-level Dealer Principals, Account Management, and Retail Sales selling skills.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Training skills are a plus.
Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
? Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
? Three years direct or indirect retail channel experience
? Three years account management experience
? Two years supervisory or management experience
? Two years related sales experience in wireless, data and/or enterprise software applications
? Two years experience working with Sprint's products, services and applications
